Provides Nutritional Support for Healthy Joints
Lubricates Joints and Revitalizes Cartilage

Glucosamine is an amino sugar that supports cartilage health and other tissues. It is naturally present in the exoskeleton of certain shellfish.

Chondroitin Sulfate is an important structural component of cartilage and facilitates the entry of glucosamine into joints. It also inhibits free radical enzymes.  Like glucosamine, chondroitin attracts water into the cartilage and decreases the breakdown of substances that can damage the cartilage matrix.

Bromelain is a mixture of enzymes usually found in pineapples (Ananas comosus) that digest protein (proteolytic).

S-Methylmethionine (Cabbage Concentrate) is an amino acid commonly found in a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

Feverfew Extract may reduce the body’s production of prostaglandins, which are substances involved in starting and prolonging inflammation.

Promotes Comfortable Movement

Many studies confirm joint pain relief with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate in combined use. Several large placebo controlled clinical trials demonstrated clear benefits for glucosamine treatment in joint stiffness and improvement in joint space narrowing noted on X-rays.  This suggested that Glucosamine, unlike NSAIDS and other pain relievers commonly used for joint pain, may help prevent the destruction of cartilage.  OsteoArthritis Research Society has recommended Chondroitin Sulfate as an effective aid for moderate cases of joint inflammation and pain.

Studies have shown that Glucosamine appears safe and is probably safe for those with shellfish allergy. People with allergies to pineapple should avoid bromelain. Those on blood-thinners including warfarin, aspirin, Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatories should watch for any increased bleeding and take this under a healthcare provider’s supervision.
